Can I bring my pet?

Does the boat have wheelchair access?
Unfortunately we are not currently equipped for a wheelchair. Please feel free to reach out with your situation and we will do everything we can to accommodate you if possible. Â

Can I bring alcohol?
Yes, guests 21 and older can enjoy alcoholic beverages responsibly.

What should I wear?
It is always 10 degree colder on the water. Its always good to pack a warm layer or raincoat if the forecast warrants.

Is there a toilet on the boat?
Yes, but it is only for emergencies. All passengers should use the bathroom facilities prior to departure.

Do I need to bring a life jacket?
No, we have pfd's for passengers.

What if its raining?
Its rarely raining in the summer months and if it is it usually passes quickly. We want you to have an enjoyable experience. If thats not possible the captain will contact you to cancel or reschedule your sailing.Â

What type of footwear should I wear?
Please wear footwear with non marking soles. Generally hiking boots or large bulky boots are not comfortable for sailing and have marking soles.Â

Where do I park?
Parking is available in front of the main marina pier or by the Harbor Bar and Grill.

Do you provide food and drinks?
We do not. We encourage you to bring snacks and beverages.

Can I bring a camera?
Yes! bring your phones and camera's at your own risk. A leash or lanyard is helpful to keeping them from falling into the water.Â

What if there is no wind?
We cannot control mother nature and you never know when the wind will pick up. Dovetails motor will cruise through the sound taking in the sites, wildlife and history. We have a large bean bag chair for sitting on the bow of the boat in calm weather.

Will we see whales?
Its possible but unlikely. If your goal is to see whales we recommend going on a whale watching trip.

Will I get seasick?
Sailboats do rock and sway at times. We've found most people do fine when above deck. Most seasickness occurs when below deck in the cabin.

Can I bring cannabis products?
Although legal in WA State the law on the water is federal. It is illegal to bring cannabis or any other drugs aboard the vessel.Â
