About Swell Sailing
Come sail the sound with us! We offer sailing charters departing from our homeport Rosario Harbor in the heart of Eastsound on Orcas Island, WA. We cruise the waters on our Ranger 29 Sailboat named “Dovetail”.
Dovetail offers a safe and comfortable way to host your group on the water. Whether you're looking to sail or just cruise while the sun sets, we are happy to share the beauty of the San Juan's with you.
Eastsound is an exceptional place to sail. With mountains on either side the wind funnels through providing a breeze when other locations don't.
Meet Your Captain
Captain Sean Coronis has many years of experience navigating the waters of the Puget Sound and beyond. He is happy to share local knowledge of the area's history, wildlife and island life.
Being on the water is his happy place and he looks forward to sharing that joy with you.
The Experience
Whether you're an experienced sailor or new to boating its our goal to offer you a fun and comfortable experience on the water. We love it when our guests are interested in learning and getting involved in helping to sail the boat. We also understand sitting back, relaxing and taking in the view.
The Sights
Its very common to see harbor seals, otters, bald eagles, Sea Lions, porpoise, sea stars and jelly fish. Many whales swim the waters around the San Juan Islands and its possible for our paths to cross. If your goal is to see whales we recommend going on a whale watching trip on a fast boat.
